The students will learn various techniques used in western classical and contemporary music thereby facilitating a strong foundation for a performer.
Understanding the importance of dynamic and articulation markings in developing a style for the instrument is an essential part of the program.
Etudes and technical work are highly focussed on in order to build fluency and strong performances.
VIOLIN
This course aims at an in-depth understanding about playing the violin. Posture and bowing techniques are highly focussed on. Tuning the violin, pre-scale exercises and scales, whole scale exercises, fine motor skills development exercises, basic terminology and learning vibrato are topics taught during the duration of the course.
